Yeah, it is rather distasteful that my generation and the ones who have come since are being held responsible for the debts of our parents and (yes) grandparents generations. It’s a might infuriating when I’m told that, in order to balance the books, I’m supposed to do without the social safety net, but my parents are “entitled” to it for the rest of their lives.

It’s worse than you think. As the last of my pre-boomer generation goes, we’re going to blow the TVA dams and crater-charge the interstate highways.
