Of course they are. No need to strawman. But Judaic interpretations do not apply to Christianity and vice versa.
I don’t see the problem I asked a simple question. Is it as common in Judaism to take the creation story literally? And if not, why not? I know they are separate religions, but this is a story that is shared. I don’t quite get why so many Christians insist on taking the story literally in the face of scientific facts to the contrary. I am simple inquiring as to whether or not another religion that shares the story has the same phenomena or is this uniquely Christian?
