Looks like my question if the AGNY was going to pursue charges against Manafort has been answered.

Edit. Actually it looks like it’s the CITY of New York, not the State that pursuing charges.

The indictments are for state charges. The prosecutor is the Manhattan DA, who is the county DA (Manhattan is a county after all). The charges are in violation of state criminal statutes.

NYC has additional tax laws, and he could be charged for those as well (again by the Manhattan DA), but it looks like the state charges are the ones to focus on.
