Hoyer is not as mean as Pelosi and this is an administration that equates meanness and effectiveness, whether it is true or not. That is the irony of the “torture” debate. They think torture works.

Not to mention they engage in it constantly. How else do you explain the photos of Pelosi that get released to the public?
