Bullshit. It’s mere politeness and it facilitates good relations with the community. No one is making them wear a burka.

You cover your head if you’re a female visiting a mosque, no matter the reason— just like men cover their heads when visiting a synagogue, and women visiting Catholic churches used to have to cover their heads.

I will retract everything I said when you can provide me with a link showing that British cops are required to wear yarmulkes in synagogues or that female cops cover their heads in Catholic churches.

You have ten minutes. After which, I will presume you can’t provide the link, and I will consider that you have lost this round.
