I really don’t think so. I think he’s classless, given his previous comments— and lack of apology— about Michelle Obama, and I see no reason why I, or NPR, should give any of his recent comments the benefit of the doubt when it comes to integrity or honest intention.

I watched the entire video of him, and I feel it made him look even worse than the snippets that were extracted.

I have no doubt you tried to be fair. And I do believe that some would certainly give Juan the benefit of the doubt for what was clearly a misguided statement if he wasn’t “sleeping with the enemy” at FOX.
