One can lobby for free speech without lobbying for the speaker, which seems to be what you are doing and catching flak.

On my website I have not one post about Wilders, because I have mixed opinions about him.

However, I overall believe his case should be supported due to the terrible precedant it would set if he loses. I also believe some of his statements and positions have been misinterpreted by Charles, and remain convinced of that.

Regardless, even if his goal is to ban the Koran (which I do not support) I believe he has every right to call for the banning of the Koran, just as someone has the right to call for the banning of the Bible and Baghavad Gita. Someone should not be sent to jail for issuing such statements. They should only be sent to jail for open calls to violence.
