Something NOT being taken into consideration about welfare:

The bureaucrats are not interested in helping people get off of welfare. It’s called job security. If a single mother needs some assistance, she’s usually railroaded into complete dependence instead. Perhaps she needs some help with daycare. What she gets is a choice between a waiting list and full welfare. What woman needing to work can wait for help to do so? She has no choice but to accept full welfare when all she needed was some day care assistance.

Don’t be so quick to blame those in need as the system itself is so corrupt as to screw those in need as much as the tax payers.
