I sent two kids and a lot of money to Auburn. They should name a
building for me—maybe a bar near Toomey’s corner.

A neighborhood bar named a drink for me. “Fat Man’s Folly” it was called. Served in a highball glass, on the rocks:

Three jiggers geneva gin
8 dashes Angostura bitters
1 Jigger cheap-ass applejack
Topped with ginger beer (not ginger ale)
Garnish with slice of lime.
