I am not ignoring it

Yes., you are. When you say:

If dead or alive brother is due to specific policy in question, then it is in part about choice as policies are results of choices.

Then you are saying that my brother’s death was due to the policy, rather than being a variable outcome no matter which policy was chosen.

I understand the difference between being and appearance. But if hypocrisy has nothing to do with this, then why did you bring it up?

Hypocrisy has to do with this. But it doesn’t mean I’d think “Which of these paths would lead to hypocrisy?” and make my judgment on that. I mean that my reaction would be the non-hypocritical one because I’m not a hypocrite. It wouldn’t be a decision, to accept it. It’d be a consequence of who I am, and my attributes.

My disagreement does not mean that you should do something differently.

Seriously, what is your native language? It would help me communicate with you. I’m asking you what you think that some person, in that scenario, should do if their brother was killed. You disagree on accepting it. So what should they do? What would you do?

Is all you’re actually saying is that you think negotiating with terrorists is the better policy?
