The school rock band at the Catholic high school I taught at sang that as part of an assembly. I’m intrigued to learn that Sister was swaying and singing along to an atheist anthem.

Yeah I can see that. I’ll get into religious music. But I never took “Imagine” too seriously because it’s not one of my favorite Beatles songs. I prefer stuff like Back in the USSR. And I didn’t actually agree with all the lyrics of “Imagine.” But I don’t think it was about “no religion”. It was about no religion as a state of mind in how we relate with one another. Could say more I suppose…
