Last time I had the flu, was about twenty years ago. I was a college student. I was lying in bed, sick as a dog, too weak to move, and trying to cheer myself up, I muttered “It’s just the flu. No one ever died from the flu.”

Then it occurred to me that that was, well, seriously not true. And I started laughing, and almost fell out of bed because I couldn’t stop.

And what medically necessary substance were you smoking when this laughing jag came on?
