Why not a sticker? Surely a sticker would be cheaper for the tax-payer. A sticker would ID which cars belong in a lot. Do we peons who have EZ passes get special plates?

Stickers can easily be ripped off. (I know a plate can be too) but on a traffic stop the plate (registration) must match the vehicle, not so much a ‘sticker”
