Aren’t there international symbols for ‘touch this and you will die’? Couldn’t a few stickers have been applied?

In our Chemical Safety training, we’ve been hearing about the gradual ‘universalization’ of warning signs etc. so that everybody uses the same pictographs, but to me, they seem to have become more obscure.
