I’d start with his attempted anti-charter school drive, which only was ended because Gov. Cuomo outmaneuvered him, and his dumb crusade against the Central Park carriages.

Let’s be clear about this:

The current turmoil in NYC isn’t over charter schools and horse carriages. It’s because the NYPD is basically saying they answer to no one but themselves, and the mayor had the audacity to point out that even his son is a potential harassment (or something much, much worse) victim due to skin color.
