I think there were at least a couple of Star Treks with Utopia communities.

Usually we found out they were paying some dreadful cost.

Except that that is fairly ironic, because Star Trek itself posited a human utopia. Everyone is happy, healthy, scientifically savvy, and reaching for the stars.
