Right. Bush did start the auto bailouts which was something that the right wing continues to ignore. Obama stepped it up. In the context, which is important here we have a couple of issues. One, Bush is not running for reelection and the right wing refuses to acknowledge his hand in the bailouts. Another being that Obama is the one who is being hammered by the right wing since 2009 for the Chrysler bailout. In order for this line of thinking to work the right wing would have to acknowledge Bush’s hand in this and stop complaining not only about this ad (which they’ve been doing since last night) and shut the heck up.

Which won’t happen.

The RWNJ seem to have totally ignored the fact that GM has paid back the entire TARP loan and is now standing on its own two feet again. They seem to think that GM is still being supported by the government.
