Oh hell. I completely forgot that yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I. It was on that date, July 28th 1914, that Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. The first shots were fired the same day. This followed a month of diplomatic back and forth over Serbian complicity in the assassination of Arch-Duke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo on June 28th.
