And if some of those statistics are indeed true… China soon to be the largest “English Speaking” nation on Earth… India’s “Honor Student” children population exceeding America’s entire population of children, what then?

Do we get our collective shit together, and get serious about maintaining and improving our (now flagging IMO) status as world leaders in industry and science? Or do we bend to the Luddites, both political and religious, who deem it is better to spend money on this or pray to that?

Or, do we take that downward spiral path of assuming that “we” must out-breed “them”?

That is the issue, in a lot of ways. Do we insist that we have every right to be Number One, because we just DO, or do we actually work to keep our edge?
