so im looking at the spectrum analyzer display code here and the class name for the data panel itself is “BartHead”. i conclude that ‘bart head panel’ is a technical term from the signal processing domain im working in here

however, it turns out that the name comes from the characteristic profile of the spectrum analyzer data for this domain

WHICH LOOKS LIKE BART SIMPSON’S HEAD
