Yep. Otherwise known as Kinkakuji. It was absolutely SWARMING with school groups but like I said, I may have thought it opened at 8 instead of 9 and so we got there at 8:30 and were close to the front of the line. Very close. Which is why there are no people on the path to the right, because they weren’t allowing people to go down that way yet.

I am a very, very, VERY obvious target for the “interview the foreigners to practice your English” lesson.
