re: #23 ludwigvanquixote Those things are not equivalents. Most of the things you listed (minus AIDS) are evils perpetrated by man against man. It does not rise to the level of murder or rape. Though people overuse those terms to describe part of what is being done to the environment I resent their misappropriation. There is no moral equivalency here. And gallows humor on the part of fellow sufferers is generally considered acceptable whereas finding humor in the suffering of others is not.
