Calculus is fun! And it ties in with so many other things…the derivative of a function representing an object’s position in time, in the physical world, can be thought of as velocity…and the second derivative is the object’s acceleration! How cool is that?!

true story, I aced every single math class I took up to AP high school calculus, which turned out to be just an abbatoir, a total trainwreck, I was so lost. I was lucky to escape with my life, much less a C in that class, never took a (non-applied) math class again
