Desperate Housewives skewered the perfect ideal of suburban life and the people in it, at least in the first few seasons. I stopped watching when they decided to do a “let’s fast-forward a few years” trope, so I have no idea what it’s like now.

This GCB thing just reeks of desperation. Get a bunch of nasally-voiced, big haired women to fake Texas accents and put them in Dallas and voila! It’ll be just like the Second Coming of JR Ewing, or something. WTF.

Ah, so I guess you already heard that they’re doing a new Dallas series?
