That’s the thing, Romney’s trip has nothing to do with international diplomacy. It’s all about playing up to the preconceived notions of his wingnut “base” back home, who is he trying to fire up to get them to the polls on election day.

And it is showing - he’s flailing at “diplomacy” but hitting all the right notes for his “base” and for his super-rich funders.
