You can field 9 under normal rules. 3 squadrons of 3 as your Fast Attack Option.

Normally for Apocalypse, I run my IG as a Baneblade with infantry support. 1 Baneblade, 1 full IG platoon as fire support, 4 Veterans Squads in Chimera, 3 Storm trooper squads in Valks, and a special unit of sentinels, 3 squadrons with the command sentinel.

Just the one Baneblade for heavy fire? No other MBT’s?
