Terms like “religion”, “church”, “freedom” and “bigot” are used in such a broad and unclear manner in public discourse that it would simply do more harm than good.

I did not write those terms.

What we need is someone in leadership to speak, well, eloquently, about the pandering to religious gatherings for the sake of buying votes, the currency of the buy being paranoia and ignorance.
