More than one MD I know claims that nicotine is more addictive than heroin.

I maintain that the behavior of smoking is a big part of the addiction and that is why nicotine patches, gum, etc. aren’t that effective. If it was just the nicotine addiction, they would be. Those dealies did nothing for me to help me quit. Only when the behavior addiction was satisfied could I stop smoking.
