Yeah, last Friday apparently. I don’t know. Olmert and Barak said about the same thing. This was a closed door meeting and not a diplomatic event nor communication. It may have been awkward but there’s nothing to see here. Netanyahu is free to get pissed off about this but there’s not much else that can be done here. Kerry will certainly not be released because of this. It’s essentially RW shiny object for the most part. For it’s part, some Israeli officials have said some rather objectionable things about this administration. We’ll call it even. And once again.

If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights (also for the Palestinians in the territories), then, as soon as that happens, the State of Israel is finished.
— Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (2007)

“As long as in this territory west of the Jordan river there is only one political entity called Israel it is going to be either non-Jewish, or non-democratic,” Barak said. “If this bloc of millions of Palestinians cannot vote, that will be an apartheid state.”
— Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak (2010)
