It was a really pretty little Base, wasn’t it. With the little river mid base, and the Priory right off of it and the main road; one couldn’t ask to be stationed in a more tranquil setting. I was a GM (Game Master) during my second tour, and used to use the priory for weekend game-a-thons…as I said, nice memories. I often drove by Cheltenham, but never went on base.
