My dad saw the Thunderbirds with the F-100s when he was in the Argentine AF. They flew down there for a show.

The only time I saw the Thunderbirds was the early 90s when they were flying F-16s.

Visited the one museum in Denver (Wings Over the Rockies?) and they have the whole Century series there. Got to sit in the F-4 cockpit as well and was told by the docent that I was essentially too tall to be a fighter pilot (6’ 2”) for those planes.

Of SF interest they also had one of the full-size X-Wing models there at the time as well. :)
