Don’t jump the gun

Cutting power lines that feed the site is a far cry from getting into the site.

Also, I’m not sure what affect it would have if the intent was to sabotage Tehran’s atomic advances. I’m sure a site of that nature even if only used for “peaceful purposes” must have backup power capabilities

I would guess the purpose of cutting the power is to damage the centifuges if they were running at the time. It might have been a test run to see how the facility reacts, maybe helps to locate the backup generators too.
