Nope, haven’t worn them in years. I got on a lizard-skin pointy toe boots kick about ten years ago and watched ebay like a hawk until I had nearly every color made. Red is my favorite, but that takes a certain mood and occasion. My BEST pair of boots were made in the 70’s ….sea turtle, Justin, more supple than you would think a skin boot could be, and in mint condition. On the rare occasion I wear cowboy boots now, that’s my choice. Believe it or not, their color is (wait for it) ….tortoiseshell. :-)

Nowadays I kick around campus in some any-season uggs that are like a second skin. My number-one all-time-favorite pair of shoes is a 4” spike heel pointy-toe alligator skin pump.

I’ma shoe nut. It’s genetic.
