Does anyone realize what happens when you cut taxes for people like me? Well it just happened so I’ll tell you.

First the extra money accumulates in the bank. Then I transfer it into my brokerage account, where it sits until I get around to investing it. Eventually I put in a buy order for an equity. My bid slightly increases the price of said equity. No jobs are produced. No present-time economic activity ensues.

Someday, in the distant future, I’ll cash out and spend the money, but in terms of stimulating the economy, there’s no bang for the buck.
