OK, fantasy time here.

Let’s say the RNC decides later today to re-direct spending away from Trump to the RNC’s congressional campaigns. Trump being Trump, he’ll blow a gasket, to say the least. Then another scandal or two breaks over the next 10 days or so.

Third debate? Trump launches into an all-out declaration of war against the GOP, saying he’s been “betrayed”, and urges his supporters to stay home, to boycott the election. Enough of these delusional morons decide to heed Trump’s advice.

Result - the GOP is swept out of the Senate and the House owing to angry Trump voters sitting out the election. President Clinton now has House and Senate majorities to work with. Trump burns the GOP down to the ground as a result of his scorched-earth policy, and the GOP descends into chaotic infighting as the various factions seek the upper hand, which in turn, makes them even more unappealing to the overall electorate.
