That’s a really simplistic and idiotic plan that has no merit to it at all, and doesn’t make any sense at all.

Why the hell would you cut across the board and not try to actually cut things that didn’t work, while supporting things that did work— and thus saved us money?

Spending does not vanish into a fiery inferno (except for the money set aside to satisfy Ba’al), but produces results. sometimes, the results aren’t worth the spending. Sometimes, they produce much better results than the spending. US investment in the internet spurred our economy enormously.

Cutting 10% across the board has nothing to recommend it.
