Same type of logic that says that while you may not have ever owned slaves, and even may have had ancestors that helped free the slaves, you benefited from slavery as an institution, and therefore, pay up, sucka.

I’m not getting your reference to Collectivism, but yes, the reparations issue is one manifestation of the “sins of the father being passed to the son” that I am thinking of.
