I don’t get the right’s obsession with this Saudi kid. I mean, they have two actual muslims to blame for the bombing, so why are wasting their time smearing some guy who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Yeah I don’t get it either, which is probably one reason I’m not a wingnut.

However, I think it’s probably driven by two issues:

1. The Saudi National was an early pick for TERRORIST out to kill us. They feel some interest in defending their first theory.

2. The actual terrorists, at least one of them, is Muslim, but they both appear to be a)buffoons and b)free agents in the WAR ON AMERCIA. Both of these facts make the actual terrorists terribly boring and unconspiracy-like. A better, more wide-reaching and scandalous controversy conspiracy is needed to satisfy people who are convinced DHS has bought all these weapons and tanks and bullets to subdue faithful Muricans and take away all their gunz and bibles.
