A better question is: why get a tablet at all until they come with usb ports, sd explansion slots, hdmi out ports, etc.

Until then I’ll stick to a laptop.

I was hoping that the Playbook would be more mature; getting unmetered internet via blackberry device tethering is pretty sweet, and I’m grandfathered into AT&T’s unlimited international BBery data plan.
But the firmware just isn’t ready yet.

Also #12: I’m not getting locked into iTunes.
