I think it’s quickly putting to rest the idea that this is going to end with Crimea. Putin is pretty much presenting the West with an ultimatum: Put Yanuk back in power and ensure he stays there until he can steal the election in December, or Russia will simply conquer Ukraine and install Yanuk back in power.
