Samantha Bee and John Oliver are in a dead heat in the competition to be the true successor to the Jon Stewart legacy. Trevor Noah isn’t even in the running and he’s the guy in the chair.

I don’t really disagree but Sam Bee and John Oliver have the advantage of being able to use an entire week to produce a single half hour of content. They also get to focus on a single issue and explore it in depth. Noah has to produce four shows a week and hit multiple topics each day that often pop up with short notice and is expected to conduct interviews on top of that. He’s been given a much harder job and was tasked with filling impossibly large shoes.
