At my parents’ house, only one feline overlord actually engages in mortal combat with the rodent. The other supervises. At our house, we only have one who is capable of such action. However, she is grimly efficient at her work.
Right now, one is halfway under the table, the other is supervising.
Both are equally not very good at this particular job…when they somehow manage to actually catch a mouse, 9 times out of 10 the rodent gets away after a long and hard-fought chase/battle.
The one successful time out of ten, the mouse carcass ends up in the bed, in my shoes, or just in the middle of the floor waiting to be stepped upon with a bare foot in the middle of the night…
