And yeah, it’s gonna be a rough winter, especially for Czechs. For reasons I’ll never understand, people here keep their heaters going at full blast during the winter. Seriously, you walk into someone’s apartment here in mid-January, and it’s like walking into the Las Vegas strip on a hot August afternoon.

I typically keep the temp set around 16 or so. Which is fine for me.

I lived in an Brezhnevka apartment in Moscow where there was no way to regulate the heat in winter, just a vent window to open to cool things off.
