I have my American passport, and an Irish passport. If one your parents or grandparents (new law includes great grandparents) was born in Ireland, you can get citizenship, and passport.

Wow really. Both my grandparents on moms side were born there. They then came to the US through Canada. The first of their 13 kids was born in Canada (my oldest uncle), all the rest were born here in Pennsylvania. So I could get citizenship in Ireland. Would I have to revert to the O’Donnell surname :-)
