If they had no specifics, why open their mouths at all? The markets love specifics, it gives them an idea of the future.

May I propose that the markets love specifics, because if validates that the people speaking have an f’ing clue what they’re mouthing off about.

My mantra remains, “You can’t beat something with nothing”, and having no numbers, the Repubs came to the game with nothing.

Geithner was on ABC Stepanopoulos this morning. I cannot read this guy. Is he a totally empty suit, or just an incredibly bad surface on a knowledgable guy - those being the major choices. He’s a type you see in corporate America (and I don’t like them there either), … prickly. Guarantees they will never have great results, but they often “get the job done”. Just have to hope that’s how it is with G, I guess.
