In some ways, this is good. With the Mad Persian Ahmadinejad spouting off, the world will know Iran is still working on a bomb and plans to use it. The world won’t do anything, though; that hasn’t changed.

But if the opponent had won, the world could at least delude itself that Iran can be changed by talks.
