I think of Scoop Jackson and even Hubert Humphrey - disagreed with ‘em on domestic matters, but never had ANY DOUBTS AT ALL that they loved America and would protect us.

Even Daniel Patrick Moynihan, he was a genuine liberal, smart as hell, but he loved this country.
