It has been noted by many that Mitt Romney does well in states that Obama will carry in November.

Even if true (and it seems so), what does that mean?

It means his organization will be weaker in those states and he’ll have to rely more on the local GOP there, which means making promises and taking on staff that are beholden to those areas.

So, VP chance of extreme wingnut increasing.
