They keep talking about the billions that will be saved by eliminating this federal department or that, but in the next breath demand expanding government intrusion into lives in such a fashion that would make the current government seem to be engaging in kids play.

The GOP is so into small government that they want to fit up into lady bits (current GOP orthodoxy, see TV ultrasounds, abortion/birth control restrictions, personhood amendments, etc.).
The GOP is so into small government that they want a political/religious officer in every classroom (the Carson version).
