What’s amazing is how few people go and visit there:

“Last year, only 56,000 people stopped there, compared with an average of 1.1 million people at each of the other facilities.”

I’m certain the MacDonald’s near my home draws that many people per day…

When I was at Ft. Benning I convinced three other guys (one of whom had a little pick up truck) to do a road trip back in 1982. We took in Andersonville and Plains GA.

Plains was a very small town with an enormous grain elevator filled with peanuts. I recall that and dirt roads.

Andersonville was far more interesting.
